Location: This position could primarily be remote, but proximity to an Elevance Health major office (pulse point) is a plus. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

Supporting the Enterprise Valuation Team, the Actuarial Analyst II completes projects and performs complex actuarial studies.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Valuation peer reviews, tracking of reserve restatements for all lines of business, payment cycle time reporting, high cost risk pool receivable calculations and booking, medical claims payable forecast support, etc.
• Quarterly and annual responsibilities include actuarial briefing binder support, internal and external audit support, and support for actuarial opinions / memoranda/ technical appendices.
• Will be required to learn VBA skills in order to assist in maintaining actuarial models.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $69,600 to $125,280
