Summary

This position is in the Flight Program Operations, Maintenance Control organization. Incumbent is responsible for aircraft maintenance planning activities including state of the art aircraft management systems that track, forecast, predict, and control scheduled aircraft maintenance under an approved Continuous Maintenance Program.

Qualifications

To qualify for this FV-I (FG/GS-13) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience applying knowledge and expertise in aircraft maintenance planning activities to include: utilizing state of the art aircraft management systems that track, forecast, predict and control scheduled aircraft maintenance under an approved Continuous Maintenance Program; Experience working with electronic maintenance databases and/or systems, aircraft parts, components, and accessories; Experience utilizing production methods and practices employed in electronics and supporting shops.

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a selective factor for this position. This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Applicants who do not possess this criterion are ineligible for further consideration.

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SPF): Applicants must possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.

ALSO

QUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF):Well-qualified applicants will have experience working with and preparing excel spreadsheets AND experience using Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Systems.

Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
