We are an AI application team within the TikTok architecture department, dedicated to leveraging AI to enhance R&D efficiency and user experience. Our efforts include developing our own code model to support projects, as well as exploring the use of LLM-related technologies such as agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to further expand our capabilities and drive innovation.

We are looking for a creative and passionate AI Backend Development Engineer to join our team. You will work on innovative AI applications in the field of TikTok development. As an AI Backend Development Engineer, you will be involved in building the next-generation R&D system, improving R&D experience and efficiency, and driving technological innovation in AI for TikTok.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with cutting-edge technologies and explore the application of large-scale models for personalized use.
- Continuously explore various scenarios to enhance engineering efficiency and R&D experience using AI capabilities, such as enhanced information search, code rewriting, code generation, and code transformation.
- Investigate long-term, high-target AI application directions, such as Generative UI and SWE.
- Participate in post-training work for models.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
- Strong learning ability with a keen desire for knowledge, curiosity, and ambition; able to stay updated with the latest industry technologies.
- Solid foundation in computer science, extensive backend development experience, and familiarity with Golang,
- Python, and corresponding frameworks and common technical components.
- Positive and optimistic attitude, strong sense of responsibility, meticulous work ethic, and excellent team communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification
- Experience in designing and developing large-scale systems; experience in advertising, search, or recommendation systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, large model engineering experience, and RAG-related development and design is a plus.
