Are you passionate about ensuring compliance and upholding the highest standards of IT governance and responsible AI practices? We are seeking a diligent and forward-thinking Compliance Officer to join our AI department.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our AI systems and processes adhere to internal IT controls and meet regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices in AI governance. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments such as Privacy, Security and Legal, as well as with external auditors and other stakeholders.

THE CHALLENGE:

As our AI & Data Compliance Specialist, you will navigate the complex landscape of IT governance and responsible AI. Your primary challenge will be to oversee operating IT general controls, including providing support during audits and leading remediation activities to address any compliance gaps. Additionally, you will be working with our compliance and privacy teams to ensure that our data platform and AI solutions are aligned with our internal policies and best practices. You will also help establish, promote and uphold responsible AI practices, ensuring that our AI systems are developed and deployed ethically and transparently.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience with ITGC or similar processes to manage and maintain compliance effectively.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, SOX and EU AI Act.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate compliance requirements and report on compliance metrics.
• Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, JIRA and Confluence enabling you to handle detailed reports and data analysis.
• Experience with process management to streamline and optimize compliance procedures.
• Technical background to understand and evaluate IT systems and controls.
• Understanding of AI technologies and their ethical implications.
• A flexible and hands-on approach, ready to adapt to the evolving compliance and AI landscape.
• Self-motivated and self-sufficient with a strong desire to operate effectively amidst ambiguity.
• Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business, ensuring compliance initiatives are supported and implemented.
• Competent in mediating disagreements and negotiating resolutions, fostering a cooperative and compliant work environment.
