AI Engineering Lead

You will be joining a team of performance-driven Willowers, backed by the most advanced technology the built world has ever seen.

As the Principal/Lead AI Engineer, you will drive innovation and influence the trajectory of intelligent control systems for building automation. You'll collaborate extensively with engineering leads, solutions architects, and our clientele to spearhead research, prototype development, design, and integration of AI-driven functionalities crucial to Willow's mission of transforming the built environment. Moreover, you'll forge strong partnerships with Microsoft and our esteemed client, the largest global retailer, to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and Prototype: Lead remote team conducting cutting-edge research in AI, focusing on areas such as time series analysis, graph analysis, LLM and natural language processing.
• Design and Architecture: Lead the team building scalable, high-performance MLOps pipelines.
• Implementation: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and hands-on coding throughout the implementation phase, ensuring seamless integration of AI features.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience as an AI Architect with substantial expertise in researching, prototyping, and implementing AI solutions working with time series and/or graph data.
• Proficiency in modern LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Azure, and others is preferred, along with broad experience with AI/ML services in at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Proficiency in Python is required and experience with C# is preferred.
• Experience with time series, graph analysis, and NLP is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate innovative ideas into practical, scalable solutions.
• Understanding of core networking, data transport, persistence systems and containers at scale, particularly Kubernetes.
