Job Description

Area of responsibility:

β€’ Leading one of the Scrum teams on perception algorithms development

β€’ Understanding the technical impact on radar perception of different stakeholder request and prioritizing the activities for maximizing customer values

β€’ Supporting radar perception pursuit activities, customer reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders

β€’ Defining perception solution roadmap and driving technical evolutions of radar perception platform

β€’ Being accountable for team velocity, deliveries and POC studies on new methods and algorithms

β€’ Evaluation and evolution of our market-leading perception software solutions

β€’ Investigation and adaptation of latest development in technology and methodology into our solution stack

β€’ Development and integration of algorithms in C++ and Python

β€’ Be accountable for product quality by driving design, requirement and comprehensive verification and validation according to Aptiv process and industry standards

β€’ Continuous improvement of supporting factors, e.g., simulation tools and testing environment

β€’ Defining use-cases and test scenarios in regular data collection and vehicle testing activities

β€’ Troubleshooting and issue resolution for ongoing programs and projects

β€’ Interaction with Radar Perception Technical Manager, internal and external stakeholders and IT&V teams

Required education or other training/alternative equal experience

β€’ Master or PhD degree in Control Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent qualification

Needed experience, describe type of competence area for the experience

  • Minimum 6 years of ADAS/AD algorithm development experience.
  • Technical and project leadership experience in ADAS/AD project SOP launch.
  • Hands-on experience on AI/ML, ideally in ADAS/AD domain.
  • Proficiency in radar perception software and/or radar signal processing.
  • Solid understanding of scenario-based evaluation and testing of ADAS algorithm.
  • Good experience in C/C++ programming, MATLAB and/or Python.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn.
  • Experience working with GIT/Gerrit/Jenkins, Jira or similar.
  • Experience in automotive standards, e.g., A-Spice and ISO26262.
  • Strong sense of urgency and prioritization capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, servant leadership, team work & social skills, goal-oriented and structured way of working
  • Fluent in English written and verbally
  • Swedish driving license

Specific competences/other skills needed for the position

β€’ Experience in handling different radar phenomenon

β€’ Experience in embedded software development

β€’ Knowledge in automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet etc.)
