The Impact You Will Make:

• Assist in the departmental budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor KPIs and business drivers for departments, highlighting trends and analyzing underlying causes of variance to annual goals
• Shape overarching department strategies and decisions
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
• Using SQL, leverage large, potentially messy data sets to derive insights and reporting that will drive better business decisions
• Structure and analyze ambiguous problems, creating quantifiable answers to surface business recommendations
• Work cross-functionally within Finance - FP&A/data science/analytics - and collaborate with stakeholders from across the organization including Restaurant Network, Restaurant Product, Finance, and Market Growth to ensure accuracy and alignment across all restaurant reporting and strategy
• Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit for the company

You Should Have:

• Bachelor's degree required in related field
• 1+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within consulting, finance or technology
• Understanding of financial statements and core finance concepts
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to dive deep, summarize, visualize, and communicate important data
• Ability to work independently and balance attention to detail with expeditious execution
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Financial Forecasting and Modelling experience is a plus
• Tableau or SQL experience is preferred
