Target Range:

$23.00/Hr. - $33.65/Hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 5%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 5%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The Margin department is responsible for the processing of unpaid cash and margin trades, as well as maintaining margin accounts with respect to House and Regulatory requirements. The margin department is also responsible for the processing of outgoing fund requests from non-IRA accounts. The department acts as a liaison between us as a Clearing Firm and the IBDs operations and their clients to resolve problems and answer questions. The Margin Associate will serve as a lead person for an area within the unit and will have specific desk accountabilities to perform as well. This position can be junior or senior level dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and approve fund disbursements from client accounts
• Protect the firm from risk exposure by monitoring accounts to ensure compliance with FINRA, SRO and Axos Clearing rules and regulations
• Prepare and issue margin and day-trading calls
• Prepare and issue cash money due calls
• File extension of time requests under Reg T
• Review various margin related reports to stay in compliance with FINRA rule 4210, REGT and other regulations
• Respond to client inquiries regarding buying power, funds available, day-trading and various other margin related topics

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 3+ years' financial services
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of SEC, IRS, FINRA reporting requirements, rules and regulations
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent communication skills
• MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Margins Operations
• Series 7, 63, or 99 licenses
