THE TEAM
Ticketmaster Music is a passionate team dedicated to supporting the needs of the world's biggest touring artists (and their promoters, agents, and managers). Tasked with building Ticketmaster's relationships with the Artist community, this entails being on the pulse of where the business is moving through discussion with major industry players, informing the Artist community of the latest developments within Ticketmaster, assisting with the operations of events, acting as a resource to help maximize ticket sales and awareness, driving incremental revenue throughout the tour cycle, and understanding Artist needs and how Ticketmaster can serve them with new Products and Services.
Within Ticketmaster Music, the Global Pricing team plays a critical role - an invaluable resource for top tours to price their tickets to market and capture fair value on their events, ensuring we sell the right ticket, to the right fan, at the right price.
THE JOB
The Analyst, Strategy & Analytics - Pricing is responsible for supporting pricing initiatives by building case studies, identifying business trends, and creating yield management strategies. This position will play a crucial role in growing the global pricing business using data. This collaborative role will create data visualizations, refine data sets, QA data, and research and implement innovative and actionable ways to look at data. The Analyst will also perform a wide range of formal and ad hoc analyses, working closely with our team of pricers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Manage large data sets to build dynamic dashboards to track key KPIs and help provide insight into every aspect of the global TM Music pricing business
- Analyze and translate data to help measure pricer and partner performance and provide actionable insights that help identify opportunities to help drive overall revenue and improve product features.
- Work closely with Pricing Team members to better understand promoter and business goals, and suggest ways to highlight areas of growth
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, gather their requirements, and define metrics that help measure performance.
- Monitor key databases to identify and fix any data integrity issues discovered by working with internal partners.
- Compile, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources into digestible formats.
- Manage teams' ad hoc data requests with ability to prioritize based on business needs
- Create impactful data visualizations with clear action items
- Track and analyze data through exploratory data analyses to solve business questions and identify areas for optimization and automation.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- Bachelor's degree required preferably in quantitative field, such as Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Expertise in predictive modelling, data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis, regression techniques, data visualization, and testing methodologies preferred
- Experience using DOMO strongly preferred
- 2+ years of business experience in analyzing large data sets to successfully drive conclusions.
- Microsoft Excel expertise - Lookups, pivot tables, dynamic charts, and pivot tables required.
- Proficiency in Airtable preferred, but not required
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$66,560.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD
The expected compensation for this position in New York City is:
$64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD
The expected compensation for this position in Westchester is
$64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD
