Position Summary:

The Analyst, Total Rewards supports various aspects of the company's U.S. compensation and benefit programs, including salary and bonus structures, health and welfare plans, deferred compensation, retirement, and equity programs. This is a great opportunity for a HR professional to enhance his/her skillset by adding experience in mergers & acquisitions and broadening from a single skillset to a multi-faceted HR role.

Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Supports U.S. market and salary surveys to ensure compensation and benefits programs are competitive. Analyzes results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by management.
  • Assists with compensation design and administration in Workday including promotions and market adjustments, bonus & incentive plan processes and analysis.
  • Assist with the annual equity and bonus planning cycles
  • Performs job evaluations to determine market survey matches, pay grade level and appropriate compensation for new or modified jobs.
  • Performs analysis, maintains data, and makes recommendations for compensation and benefit plan integration for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.


General Reporting and HRIS:
  • Prepares and/or participates in government filings, plan audits, and other tax-reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Provides support in audits of compensation, retirement plans, and benefits plans.
  • Works with Workday to meet compensation and benefits reporting needs and ensures data are updated to reflect changes to benefit plans, salary structures, bonus programs, etc.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in compensation and benefits, compensation experience preferred
  • Functional knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday preferred
  • General compensation and benefits knowledge required including compliance with state and federal laws as it applies to plans
  • Strong problem solving, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong focus in Excel
  • Ability to determine tasks based on importance to address shifting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
