Your Role and Responsibilities
β’ Perform quantitative analyses to evaluate the impact of paid media activities (channels tactics audiences messaging ad formats) on demand generation KPIs
β’ Create regular data-driven recommendations that empower paid media agency to efficiently optimize performance within a specific media channel
β’ Measure performance and establish new measurement systems to detect performance shifts and increase marketing effectiveness
β’ Develop and present data-driven optimization recommendations via dashboards reports and ad hoc analyses
β’ Communicate insights to team members other marketing groups external agencies and IBM leadership

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Creative analytic thinker and problem solver able to provide actionable insights from large amounts of data
- Experience with using querying languages such as SQL to bring together disparate data sources demonstrating deep knowledge of the relationship between the data
- Experience with data visualization tools including but not limited to Tableau Power BI Cognos R Python
- Experience working with marketing data and an understanding of paid media principles
- Comfortable prioritizing recommendations based on business value and effectively presenting to management and stakeholders
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience working with paid media and web analytics data
- Experience working with global teams across many time zones
