Animation/Motion Graphics Designer

CREATIVE / Responsible for generating bold, innovative ideas and producing design, technology and content for our clients’ marketing programs

** Our headquarters is located in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a preference for working in one of our office locations - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, or Los Angeles, CA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates.**

Good creative should be very moving when people view it. And in order for that to happen, you sometimes have to make it move. Literally. That’s why our Design Team is looking for an experienced Animator/Motion Graphics Designer who wants to work at the forefront of sports and entertainment marketing. We’ve got a ton of video and design work going on that needs someone with the craft and desire to bring creative to life as dynamically as possible.

Specifically, you’ll work alongside a team of talented designers, video editors, creative directors, and copywriters to create exceptional animations and motion graphics for our clients and, more importantly, the diverse and ever-changing audiences they’re speaking to.

• Manage day to day animation/motion graphics needs across major clients
• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with copywriters and creative directors
• Producing storyboards based on those ideas and bring them to fruition
• Create both 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics for in-stadium LED’s, video boards, web banners, social campaigns, and new business pitches.
• Add sound design to visuals
• Present creative internally and to clients
• Familiarize yourself with our client’s brand guidelines and work in collaboration with account teams and other creative agencies to make sure visuals are staying on brand and meeting client expectations

• 3+ years of experience, formal design training a plus
• A portfolio that showcases both 2D and 3D animations
• Strong working knowledge of After Effects, Cinema4D, or related software
• Basic graphic design skills and understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Enjoys creating visuals that tell a story and inspire
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Solid understanding of visual language – perspective, POV, proportion, color, composition, framing, etc
• You have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture
• Training in spatial design
• Modeling and texturing capabilities a bonus
