Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

The primary function of the Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain Project Management Office (ANSC PMO) Analyst is to track the ANSC project portfolio and create/track metrics across the AN Supply Chain and Quality networks that drive visibility and measurable improvements. The ANSC PMO Analyst will play a key role in capturing data across systems to maintain a user-friendly repository that tracks our project portfolio activity, including project health metrics (schedule, cost), and resource allocations, to allow business managers and other users to make more informed future business decisions. The candidate must have a broad background of industry best practices and performance metrics, as well as financial and project portfolio acumen. This role will interface (calls/emails) with Abbott Nutrition sites and functions in countries all around the world, requiring flexibility in communication and cultural sensitivities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

ANSC PMO Management:

• Familiar with Portfolio and Resource management systems (Planview, MS Projects)
• Familiar with Data Reporting tools (Power BI, MS Power Apps, MS Excel)
• Familiar with Database management systems (MS SQL, Azure)
• Familiar with ETL workflow development tools (Alteryx, MS Power Automate)
• Familiar with SAP/ERP systems
• Create/update and deliver training on portfolio management processes to the AN Supply Chain and Quality organizations worldwide

Metrics/Analytics/ Reporting:

• Develop dashboards and reporting for the ANSC PMO and broader AN Supply Chain and Quality organizations
• Ability to translate business trends and goals into a data driven analytical approach
• Proactively identifies strategic improvements in tools and processes
• Excellent teamwork and ability to function across multiple areas of the business

• Provide support to other areas within Abbott Nutrition and other Cross-functional teams across the Global Engineering organization to understand overall business goals, improve reporting, and assist with larger scale projects as needed
• Ability to use Power BI (or similar software tool) to display project metric trends (cost, schedule, resources)
• Maintain and support enhancements to ETL processes developed in Alteryx and database management infrastructure in Azure SQL

• Complies with all regulations and standards for quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) Global Policies, Abbott Engineering Standards, and other governance areas as applicable

Qualifications/Background

• Familiar with the Project Management Life Cycle
• Extensive competencies in documentation and data management
• Strong written and presentations skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior management and work well with team
• Possesses interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences to all levels within the organization
• Personal integrity and courage to escalate any project or process issues and advocate for responsible solutions to management
• Accountability- Works under general direction toward predetermined goals and objectives
• Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office experience - advanced MS Excel and IT system experience desired
• Microsoft Power BI knowledge/experience preferred
• Alteryx or other ETL development knowledge/experience preferred

Technical Competence

• While not required, a strong understanding of technical concepts, modeling/simulation capabilities, and/or a manufacturing background will be very beneficial in this role as the majority of the projects being supported through this team are in support of AN's manufacturing network.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, with a desired 8+ years of strong business analytics experience.
