Application Developer – IT Automation

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for talented experienced people to design develop and support application solutions. This role requires ability to design develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components to integrate software packages programs and reusable objects scattered on multiple platforms.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As an Application developer we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:

• Good knowledge of JavaScript (or similar) programming language
• Knowledge of programming logic HTTP and Client/Server Architecture
• Good knowledge of SQL programming language and DataBase logic (rational and non-rational)
• Knowledge of webservices logic (SOAP REST ecc..)
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns (for example MVC)
• Intermediate knowledge of English language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
In particular are very appreciated:

• Banking Industry knowledge
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level
• Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
