DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for the operation, monitoring and integrity of the technology platform, and handling the day-to- day application support activities for WM technology and its Application. Improve process by automating, developing dashboard and removing repeated effort. Work with the change management process to ensure policies are enforced and adhered to and application integrity is maintained on production and DR environments. Responsible for managing development platforms including, continuous build, test and integration processes. Responsible for providing technical support to internal and external users. Support the application on weekdays and support weekend hygiene patches and post code change validations. Provide rapid response to queues of incidents, participate in root cause analysis (RCA) efforts, and assist with building up knowledge base articles and documentations. Perform timely escalation of critical issues and proactively identify patterns of recurring issues to improve production. Participate in the Incident and Problem Management processes as a resolver accountable for root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Applications Support, Application Developer, Systems/Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as an Applications Support, Application Developer, Systems/Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Application Development using Java, Java scripting, Python or database development; SQL; Sybase; Oracle; Cassandra; Kafka; Shell, ksh, and awk; Unix and Linux; Windows environment; Dev Ops process, including Bitbucket, Jules, and Hipchat; Tools including Dynatrace, Apdynamics, Asemon, Toad, Ant, Jprobe, and XML Spy; Cloud Technologies, including WebLogic, Applets, Tomcat, Java, ASP, JSP, Java Script, XML, and Springboot; Production support Roles; SRE process and strategy.
Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310.
Salary: $120,900.00 - $150,000.00 per year.
