Description
CREXI is looking for an AR and Billing Specialist to work closely with our Accounting, Sales Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams to resolve billing issues and provide accurate and timely invoices to our customers. You will also be responsible for communication with our internal stakeholders to ensure invoices are collected and paid in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Review contracts and enter terms into billing system to facilitate accurate invoice creation
- Answer questions and resolve issues presented by customers, both internal and external
- Analyze A/R aging and escalate problem accounts to management and CS team
- Process payments and serve as back-up for cash posting
- Generate credits and refunds as needed
- Work through credit card disputes and provide evidence to support the validity of disputed charges
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to resolve system errors, incorrect billing, data-entry errors, etc...
- Manage essential tasks needed to close billing by the expected timeline.
- Maintain and update customer information in all systems (Salesforce/ billing system)
- Gather and organize invoicing and payment support for annual audit
- Participate in system testing and validation to ensure that delivered solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assure high customer satisfaction
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred
- 2-3+ Years of accounting experience - A/R, invoicing
- Proficiency with our software tools - Salesforce, Billing System, MS Office (advanced Excel skills preferred)
- Understanding of SaaS-based business models
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $65,000 to $85,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc ("Crexi") is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
