THE ROLE: Architect

Job Summary:

Presidio is seeking a Architect to join our team in Tennessee. This Architect can sit anywhere in TN and be successful. The optimal candidate will be a senior-level network consulting engineer with 7+ years of routing/switching and security experience, as well as strong security skills. This Architect can sit anywhere in TN.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 25%. It will be based in TN Location

Job Responsibilities:

As an Architect, your primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, configuration, installation and troubleshooting of complex data/security networks in medium to very large environments.

You'll also be providing network security consulting services, including assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments, assisting clients through planning, design, and implementation of secure data communications networks, and developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.

Required Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following:
• Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must, Arista a plus)
• NGFW/Firewalls/VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• Network Access Control, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation design, configuration, and deployment
• IDS/IPS solutions (Cisco/Palo Alto)
• Malware Prevention (Cisco/Palo Alto) a plus
• Load balancing/Acceleration solutions (Cisco, F5, Riverbed) a plus
• Authentication solutions including 802.1x/RADIUS/TACACS and RSA
• Cisco WLAN (WLCs, Prime, MSE) a plus
• Meraki a plus
• Data Center Technologies to include Servers, HCI, Virtualization a plus
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google) a plus

Additional Desired Skills:

• Strong industry knowledge and expertise in building comprehensive solutions.
• Strong communication skills
• Solid documentation experience with Microsoft® Visio, Word, and Excel
• Ambitious and goal-oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete
• Prior experience working closely with customers and collaborating with IT staff

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• Overall 7+ years of networking/security experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
• 7 years of related experience with project Deliverables from a VAR/Integrator experience mandatory
• Cisco® CCNP/CCIE certificate or equivalent experience
