SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment has an Area Executive Chef opportunity to support our AA/BA and American Airlines Lounges in NYC and other East Coast lounges. This Executive Chef will spend 70% of time based in the NY lounges and 30% travel to support culinary operations across multiple locations throughout the Northeast.

What You'll Do

• multi-unit culinary training experience;
• training and mentoring kitchen staff;
• culinary program management;
• working in small/limited kitchen spaces/equipment, as well as full kitchens;
• high-level client interaction and reporting; and/or
• recipe compliance, menu writing/roll-outs, culinary standards.

• a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
• excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
• culinary systems knowledge and expertise;
• culinary management experience within hotels or upscale/fine-dining restaurants;
• strong coaching and employee development skills; and/or
• a passion for food and innovations.
