Job Description
The Area Leasing Consultant I is responsible for supporting specific sites within a limited geographic region. This role requires strong sales and leasing skills, and is responsible for all aspects of rental income, including showing and leasing apartments through effective selling and closing techniques. A successful Area Leasing Consultant I has a thorough knowledge of all the communities, competition and current market.

- Become an expert on our communities and the local area to engage prospects and deliver great tours.
- Showcase model and vacant apartments, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Implement follow-up and closing techniques to maximize lease conversions.
- Plan resident events and ensure high resident satisfaction through responsive customer service.
- Use creative outreach (calls, emails, corporate visits) to generate leads and drive occupancy.
- Assist with promotional programs, online advertising, and social media outreach.

- Stay organized and responsive to daily property needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with property management software (Yardi and Funnel preferred).
- 1-2 years of sales experience in retail, hospitality, or multifamily housing.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: college degree preferred.
Compensation Range of $54,000 - $55,000 annually, which includes a base salary and bonus program.
Drug testing and background checks are an employment requirement. This is a required step in the hiring process.
