Job Description
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support supervisor in all areas pertaining to production and personnel
- Standard work
- Personnel issues
- Assist in the daily standard work output
- Plan the daily/weekly work load
- Drive the daily output requirements
- Survey hourly to maintain visibility of the daily output
- Understand the personnel capabilities to accomplish the daily/weekly output
- Assist in providing the standard work requirements
- Quality of production
- Training support
- Locating part availability
- Locating tooling availability
- Safety requirements
- Assist with internal teamsΒ
- Senior Leadership Team
- Continuous Improvement Team
- Planning & Purchasing Team
- Methods Engineering Team
- Research & Development Team
- Programming Team
- Time Study Team
- Drafting Team
- EHS Team
Experience requirements:
- Managerial experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Machining
- Assembly
- Understanding of Oracle MRP System
- Understanding of basic Lean concepts
- Understanding of basic excel use
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Objectives and deliverables required for this position:
- Work with employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity
- Ensure tooling fixtures and equipment are in order
- Notify Supervisor of all department issues
- Work with supervisor and Methods to solve manufacturing and assembly issues
- Participate in training seminars to help the company grow
- Conduct on-the-job training for new employees
- Maintain Symphony color system on the shop floor
- Ensure the quality standards on all products assembled in the department
- Full knowledge of Micrometer assemblies
- Fosters teamwork
- Work the hours of the department necessary to get the job done
