Job Description

Events:

  • Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, including meetings, conferences, workshops, and company-wide functions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective management of event logistics.
  • Develop event timelines, checklists, and run-of-show schedules for smooth operations on event day.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, registration, and tear-down, ensuring all aspects run efficiently.
  • Manage attendee communications, including invitations, RSVPs, and follow-up correspondence.

Operations:

  • Support daily operational activities to ensure efficient functioning of the office and event venues.
  • Manage inventory of event-related materials and office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Assist in preparing operational reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Liaise with facilities management to ensure event venues are well-maintained and equipped.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks related to event operations and office management as needed.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in event management and/or operations, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required by event schedules.

Additional Information

This is an onsite part-time role

Contract: 3 months (can be extended)

Rate is $24 to $26 hourly
