Associate Engineer-Electronic Component Cost out

What you'll do:

"The primary responsibility of this role is to study, analyze the spend data finding out gaps for cost out, create strategies for cost-out project execution for electronics category.

Understrand the requirements for all elkectronics components, Printed Circuit Boards and assembly to meet customer specific technical requirements.

Creating cost out (VA) project and execution strategies in Electronic components portfolio."
"1. Analyze spend data finding out gap for cost out.
2. Engineering data Improvement for Electronics category components
3. Drive productivity by supplier consolidations, key data improvement for electronics components portfolio
4. Finding best suitable alternates which complies with global supply chain startegy for electronics components

5. Demonstrates the application of basic Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking through component selection, preliminary validation through soft simulations.
6. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements in resolving the supplier queries and immediate solutions and contribute on process improvements with cost out benefit
7.Prepares Electronic Components specifications sheet
10. Suppliers, distributor engagement to generate new ideas and solution to gain cost out.
8. Knowledge on Collaboration with mechanical, layout, and electronic team to generate various cost out idea, Simulate or Engineering analysis on generated cost out ideas prepare and execute cost out plan for product
8. Basic knowledge on product components & testing"

Qualifications:

Required: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical Engineering. (with Electronic cost out effort )
Total relevant work experience: 4+ year for Diploma, 1+ years for degree

Skills:

Experience on electronics components, PCB, PCBA supplier qualifications considering technical aspects.
Sound knowledge on electronic component, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
Sound knowledge on spend data analysis and strategizing cost out project.
Strong knowledge in Finding out gaps for electronic cost out (VAVE) - components, PCB, PCBA. Creating cost out proposals.
Product Testing
Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
