Associate Engineer QA (Fixed-term)

Summary:

As an Associate Engineer in the Ecosystem Testing team, you will collaborate with your team mates on automation of ecosystem tests in software environment. You'll get familiar with a wide range of Dolby products and will learn how they interoperate. You'll support tools and tests development in Python and other technologies. In our high-end labs you'll get a chance to hear and see how the greatest experience is being created.

We are seeking a skilled Assosiate Engineer to join the team on a fixed-term basis - 18-months fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Implement automatic ecosystem tests,
• Implement new testing tools,
• Utilize and adapt existing test automation tools,
• Setup, configure and execute ecosystem test suites,
• Develop, configure and maintain software testing frameworks,
• Develop, configure and maintain testing hardware park,
• Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to isolate and resolve issues,
• Generate documentation and automate generation process,
• Support other employees with using the ecosystem testing framework.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience,
• Experience in Python programming,
• Basic experience with Windows and Linux operating systems,
• Basic knowledge and interest in Test Engineering practices and processes,
• Basic knowledge of signals processing,
• Good English spoken and written communication skills,
• Positive attitude and willingness to solve challenging problems.

Nice to have:

• Experience with py.test,
• Knowledge of popular Python packages,
• Experience with versioning systems like Git,
• Audio and/or video coding and processing interest.
