We are looking for a dynamic and results-orientedAssociateProject Managerto help lead and manage the installation of high-tech operating room equipment, including surgical lights, tables, booms, and operating room integration systems. In this role, you will assist in managing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. Applicants must reside in Phoenix and able to travel to throughout Arizona, Colorado & Utah. What you will do: β€’ Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within project. β€’ Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams. β€’ Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Manage a sub-project timeline. β€’ Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish, monitor and maintain costs within budget. β€’ Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans. Monitor and maintain plans. β€’ Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan. β€’ Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan. β€’ Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews. β€’ Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan. β€’ Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan. β€’ Additional role-specific technical areas of responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary by the local hiring manager. β€’ Gains stakeholder trust, and maintains open communication channels with stakeholders, including development teams and sponsors β€’ Stays calm under pressure timelines and seeks to add additional responsibility where appropriate to have an impact outside of core role β€’ Self-motivated: enjoys tackling goals, growing and developing, and is accountable for goals being met β€’ Consistently drives results β€’ Effective communicator and presenter: understands how to engage diverse audiences, adjust as appropriate and checks for understanding along the way β€’ Understand the importance of networking and utilizing that network to improve individual job performance β€’ Actively seeks to understand how goals fit into broader organizational goals β€’ Works to build customer centric solutions that are flexible as needs change, and incorporates customer feedback quickly β€’ Can consolidate large amounts of data, pinpoint valuable information free of personal bias to make timely and durable decisions β€’ Understands when to take risk and when to escalate, evaluating issues based on parts, patterns and relationships. β€’ Is able to pressure test ideas and share conclusions with a broader audience in a concise manner. β€’ Exercises good judgment regarding when and how to escalate issues β€’ Growth mindset – learns from previous mistakes and picks up new skills quickly. β€’ Additional role-specific knowledge and capabilities may be added as deemed necessary by the local hiring manager.
