Job Overview
As an Associate or Consulting Associate, you will manage works streams, create deliverables, direct project teams, and interact with clients. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing assigned projects, or work streams, with oversight of junior staff team members
- Independently conceptualizing and identifying issues, recommending solutions and leading execution of planned project approach
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, following up on client requests, and assisting in the development and presentation of client deliverables
- Engaging in problem-solving and forensic analysis of digital information using standard evidence handling techniques and computer forensics tools
- Summarizing and interpreting key questions or next steps identified from review of client data by team members
- Utilizing programming, model building, and database administration skills (Python, T-SQL, VBA, Excel, C#, among others)
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses and conclusions
- Participating in practice initiatives, team recruiting and managing team morale
- Managing the growth and professional development of junior staff members
Qualifications
Our environment is collegial and entrepreneurial, requiring teamwork and flexibility. Ideal candidates should possess:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in digital forensicsÂ
- Undergraduate or Graduate degrees in related technical disciplines, with prior consulting experience highly preferred
- Certified in, or familiar with, the following tools, or their equivalents, is preferred: EnCase, Cellebrite, Axiom
- Demonstrated problem-solving and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage multiple projects and meet timely deadlines
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in relevant solution area.
- A high level of initiative, a strong work ethic and dedication to quality
