The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking Attending Addiction Psychiatry for Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center!
The Mount Sinai Health System is looking for a psychiatrist to join our team in a new transformational, state-of-the-art, community-oriented facility for behavioral health with integrated services for mental health, substance abuse, physical health, and social service needs on the Lower East Side. The Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center offers opportunities for leadership, quality development, teaching, and scholarship within the Department of Psychiatry and the Mount Sinai Health System.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will also provide medical evaluation and treatment services, including providing all evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorders.Candidates should have fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry, and/or be graduates of internal medicine or family medicine training programs with previous clinical experience in providing medication-assisted treatment for people with opioid use disorders.
Our compensation plan includes consideration to your experience as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications
Qualifications- Graduate of Psychiatry residency training program
- Completed fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry preferred
- Active New York State Medical License
- Active federal DEA buprenorphine waiver
- Qualifications for Clinical Instructor or higher level faculty appointment
- Collaborative, proactive, and dedicated work ethic

- Desire to grow professionally within a team-oriented, performance-driven department
Compensation range from 212K to 300K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
