Job Description
What will you do?
- Define the future vision of test automation frameworks and processes at Ridgeline
- Understand how the current state of test automation aligns with Customer requirements
- Identify test automation gaps and recommend efficiencies from a technical and functional perspective
- Define automation best practices and processes within CI/CD development practices
- Provide strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot automation issues in a complex environment
- Work closely with Quality Engineers to ensure automated tests produce consistent and stable results
- Collaborate across Product Management, Product and Platform Engineering, Infrastructure and Operations, and SRE to strategize and align on long-term solutions for test automation
- Lead and mentor Quality Engineers in developing new skills and advancing their careers
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices within quality engineering to identify ways to innovate
Desired Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in building and implementing software automation testing with industry wide used automation tools such as: Karate, Cypress, Cucumber, PACT, Gatling, JMeter, SonarCloudÂ
- Experience with testing methodologies such as manual, automated, black box, regression, exploratory, and performance testing
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Extreme Programming, or Behavior Driven Development
- Experience in using tools to log and manage test results with the ability to create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases with these tools
- Understanding of test data management in Dev/Test/Release environments
- Working knowledge of software development languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript
- Serious interest in having fun at work
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in Quality Engineering transformations to Shift-Left testing
- Experience with CI/CDÂ
- Experience with investment/asset management applications
- Familiarity with development build and deployment environments Â

Compensation and BenefitsÂ

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $180,000 - $262,000 for individuals based in New York and California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.Â
