Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer / Product Test Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive test strategies and plans, as well as mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Mandatory Requirements
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps)
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Understanding of database concepts and SQL

Experience:
5+ years of experience in software testing and automation
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex test automation frameworks
Experience in API testing and performance testing

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud-based testing (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
Experience with mobile testing (iOS, Android)
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
Analyze test results and identify defects
Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
Investigate and troubleshoot software defects
Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques
Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all software solutions delivered.
Automate testing within the DevOps pipeline, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Keep up-to-date with current tools, technologies, and areas like cybersecurity and regulations pertaining to data privacy, consent, and data residency.
Mentor and guide junior team members
Lead and manage testing projects and initiatives

Location: Toluca/CDMX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office)
