Automation Tester proficient in Java

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This position involves collaboration within a team environment to maintain and enhance the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Automate test cases for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing
• Plan and execute automation tasks ensuring testing standards are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues creatively and efficiently
• Automate testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and the front end
• Document and report defects
• Manage test data and test environments
• Manage test script versions

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in test automation development or a combination of development and testing
• Knowledge of Selenium, REST testing, and experience integrating the test suite with the CI/CD pipeline
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts meeting acceptance criteria
• Background in agile methodology
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Competency in manual testing at a good level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional automation tools such as Appium or Cucumber
• Experience in performance testing
• Understanding of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
