AV Solutions Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an AV Solutions Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, International, you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and operation of all audiovisual systems, audio and video teleconferencing, and collaboration services at Peloton's flagship NYHQ, as well as contributions to remote sites including our retail locations, studio sites, and distribution centers. The position will provide oversight, planning, set up, and testing phases, ensuring the highest level of service to our end users. This AV Solutions Engineer position will be responsible for the delivery of a broad range of services including system maintenance and support, event support, lecture collection, video/web/tele-conferencing, and digital signage. This position will coordinate with multiple high level personnel across the organization to ensure the standards for event support and site maintenance are met. The AV Solutions Engineer will lead the first level of support for the operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of sophisticated integrated AV systems.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Work with multiple partners to implement Peloton’s AV event strategy
• Work closely with Workplace, Facilities, Global Communications, and other multi-functional teams to craft standard event services
• Define needs and provide technical project management for event planning
• Serve as technical liaison to all business departments on day to day AV operations
• Develop, document, and implement a roadmap to improve operational process with oversight from the Global AV Architect
• Find opportunities to rationalize services, deployments, and offerings
• Lead the onsite team's setup, installation, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems and equipment.
• Maintain consistency in service delivery, systems maintenance, and planning
• Coordinate equipment installations and vendor repairs across locations
• Keep abreast of audiovisual and collaborative technologies and evaluate the appropriateness
• Management of third party collaboration and digital signage systems monitoring, applications maintenance, and support

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• 5+ years of experience providing audiovisual support for classes and events
• Technical-level knowledge and experience with digital and analog - web, video, and audio conferencing lecture collection video streaming and specialized equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - as a global team member, strong communication, and vision are a prerequisite for success
• Knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure, and operations
• Technical-level experience with multi-channel wired and wireless sound systems
• Proven technical skills and a curiosity about solving problems, adjusting, and repairing audiovisual equipment
• A record of providing excellent member support
• Experience as client liaison for sophisticated events from start to finish
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting AV systems
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to read and comprehend technically sophisticated AV system drawings, specifications
• Broad knowledge of wire terminations, troubleshooting, and pre-testing
• Ability to efficiently and authoritatively handle stressful and very fast paced situations
• Basic understanding of video production setup and post-production workflow
• Above all else, know how to communicate effectively with your teammates and leaders, and know when to ask for assistance
