Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an AVP, Business Intelligence to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for developing and supporting financial reporting with analytic abilities and will assess system and process improvement opportunities across the entire business. The BI team will provide the translation of business intelligence and data (internal and external) into insightful and actionable strategies and tactics that will elevate and improve our market position, drive, and enable growth and deliver on our customer first promise. Collaborating closely with our Senior Business Leaders, the role requires a strong acumen in Finance, and a proficiency in BI/data management.

**This position can be Remote or located in our Indianapolis Office**

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $130,000 to $160,000. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Learns and possess a deep understanding of the company's business models, data sources, and system infrastructure to expertly design and implement the roadmap and guiding principles for a scalable Business Intelligence offering
  • As BI subject matter expert, collaborates with and influences key decision makers on the implementation of sustainable IT solutions, systems, and processes to satisfy region Americas reporting requirements
  • Works with multiple and disparate data structures to lead the development and implementation of BI solutions - including data models, building stable and repeatable data transformations, and data visualizations
  • Provides transparent, consistent, accurate and repeatable performance metrics that can be used by leaders across the business to make effective decisions
  • Leads strategy sessions with key stakeholders to understand business needs and how to enable business leaders through BI
  • Evaluates and recommends opportunities for system process improvements in the Finance function and assists with implementation of adopted improvement initiatives
  • Develops automated business processes for tracking, prioritizing, organizing, and communicating information across all business segments
  • Actively participates in the industry to stay abreast of industry trends, new technology and best practices
  • Develops and implements metrics to report and monitor progress against goals
  • Oversights and develops the Finance Business Intelligence team, including team structure, role and responsibility development and definition, and coordinates with other Finance and related teams


REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in business, finance, data analytics, information technology, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of related work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience managing teams/direct reports with excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Proven command of analytical tools, relational databases and modeling technique
  • Knowledge and experience in designing a scalable BI infrastructure
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in BI techniques, tools, and operational capability, such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Infor, Oracle SQL data bases
  • Hands-on experience in HFM and SAP or other ERP
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Office advanced proficiency (i.e., WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
