AWS Lead Developer

Infosys is seeking an AWS Lead Developer position. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to teams; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or Richardson, TX and be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
• At least 3 years of Experience working on complex Cloud based software projects, security, and open-source technologies.
• Cloud Technologies: AWS (Lambda/EC2/SQS/SNS/S3/IAM/CloudWatch).
• Big Data Technologies like Python (Pandas,Numpy, Dict,List)
• Experience working with Cloud DB/DW, like Snowflake/ PostgressSQL/DynamoDB or NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
• Efficient in Scripting language such as shell script, python
• Good understanding in Linux commands such as grep, top, nohup etc.
• JSON file structures and data processing.
• CI-CD toolchain, deployment, and monitoring.

Preferred Requirements:

• AWS-Glue, AWS-Kinesis
• Web application development, micro services
• Experience in GeoSpacial applications
• Exposure to Machine Learning projects.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for an extended period of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
