Roles and Responsibilities:

The Cloud Administrator shall perform daily monitoring and operations of the System. The Cloud Administrator shall perform basic level of troubleshooting in event of an incident/ problem and shall escalate to the respective administrators if such incidents/ problems cannot be resolved by them.

The cloud administrator will be responsible for below services.

• Access Management
• Network and Firewall Management
• Storage Management
• Security management
• Patch management
• Health monitoring and reports
• Certificate Management (SSL certificates for web sites etc)
• Incident and Problem Management
• Workload and Instance Management
• Backup and recovery management
• Configuration and Deployment management
• Cost management
• Cloud Monitoring tools
• Cloud Logging tools

In Addition to this, the cloud admin role will be working on below activities,

o Complete Documentation of the Infrastructure
o Assistance to client IT Team in case any changes needed in the setup
o Monitoring the setup together with client IT Team
o Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security using monitoring, logging, and automation tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, etc.
o Ensure compliance with cloud governance, policies, and standards.
o Plan, develop, test and perform the Data migration activities

Skills /Competencies:

Essential Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and services.
• Knowledge of all phase of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications;
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, PowerShell etc
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies, such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Experience in cloud security and compliance, such as IAM, encryption, firewall, etc.

b. Preferred skills

• Relevant experience for 4+ years as Azure Administrator for large programs
• Certifications in cloud technologies and platforms are a plus

c. Additional Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.

At least 6 years of experience in software development and cloud engineering.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
