What You'll Do

• Help deliver the Headless Commerce project, a rewrite of our bag and checkout APIs following headless principles and REST best practices.
• Plan, coordinated, and supervised activities related to the design, development, and implementation of application development
• Explain the technical specifications to the team members at a granular level and help them identify the complex test cases
• Enforce adherence to quality in coding standards, design, and development methods
• Responsible for customer communication and project delivery
• Accountable for the productivity of the team members and responsible for the optimum utilization of the team members and other resources by means of effective planning and mentoring
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the leadership team
• Resolve technical issues and raise concerns to the leadership team as necessary
• Understand the technical goals or performance requirements to provide appropriate solutions
• Provide input in implementing POC, or technical tool evaluation for the next generation of architecture

What You Know

• 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
• The required skill set is Java/Spring Boot/Micro Services, and a very good understanding of modern, standards-compliant REST APIs.
• Java-Micro Services – Java 8/9, Spring Boot, some messaging background(IBM or Rabit MQ).
• Proficient experience with SOA, Rest Services and Spring, Spring Batch, Spring boot
• Experience with any RDMS/Oracle.
• Kafka experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge/experience with Java Struts is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field

Compensation Band
