BA/DA with Y-14Q H1/H2

They just completed an internal audit and identified 72 issues that must be fixed over the next three quarters. These blended BA/DA's will be tasked with leading the entire remediation of those issues. They'll be working upstream at times, communicate with business and tech leaders, analyze the data, gather insights, and provide a solution.

Job Description: Looking for BA type roles. Will be creating requirements for remediations or simplification activities . All related to regulatory reporting - 14Qh1 h2 schedules

• H1 = commercial industry loans (CIE/CNI)
• H2 = CRE loans (Commercial real estate)

Need to understand those schedules on the level of finance team.

Strong SQL skills are a must. Using SQL to read through store procedures, see the gaps in the data, and know who can provide the data to resolve the issue. Should be able to write complex queries and analyze the data.

Background: Banking, Financial institution or consulting that focused on reg reporting & ranking or finance. Really understanding the lending products. To meet the requirement of the regulators. Anyone in finance that supports the regulatory reporting. Need to understand the commercial banking lingo (Ex: Do they know what consumer level data is? What is a commitment? Interest rates? Etc.)

• Too much of learning curve without that bg.

Soft Skills

Able to work independently. Create business requirements for technology. Ability to dig into the details. Will be writing requirements and running through the business analysis- reviewing results from tech team. And socializing with others in the group.

What tools or technology? Jira , SQL (must), Excel (advanced = must), Toad (pref), Alteryx (plus). Really looking for controller type knowledge of Y-14Q

Yrs of experience? Maybe 2-3 years on Y-14Q H1/H2
