Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated BIM Specialist to join the Digital Practice & Technology group. The selected individual will become an integral part of the design team and will work on exciting design projects. The selected applicant will be responsible for creating drawing packages, models from laser scans and creating topographic surveys.
This position is expected to begin immediately.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Create and modify topographic surfaces
- Extract data from Point Cloud models
- Complete red lines and plan revisions
- Provide BIM support to design team
- Update libraries and standards to meet evolving design needs
- Works under direct supervision
- Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings and/or animations for promotion and proposals
- Office-based work with various departments to integrate imagery into presentations using existing software
- May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals
- High school diploma
- Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required
- 3+ years of experience creating topographic drawings
- Surveying experience
- Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
- Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of the latest versions of Open Roads Designer (ORD)
- Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
- Previous survey experience working with Field to Finish a plus
- Professional experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
- Professional experience with Open Roads Designer (ORD) a plus
- Relocation is not available for this position.
