The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

We are looking for a Branch Executive (Regional Distribution Director) who will work with key brokers to represent the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) brand and all business segments within, including National Insurance and North America Specialty, for an assigned territory. Additionally, they will partner with internal leadership from all segments across GRS to foster communication and partnership in how GRS approaches the market and drives ease of doing business for broker partners.

The region encompasses Northern California.

Anticipated travel: 25%.

There is a strong preference for the selected candidate to live in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities include:
  • Clearly understand both the underwriting appetite and business strategy of all facets of Global Risk Solutions (GRS) and articulate and support in the marketplace.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with brokers in your assigned region and drive profitable growth.
  • Lead all aspects of development for broker facing/client facing marketing communication plans, including communications and events.
  • Structure and lead cross sell initiatives that align with regional growth plans and market opportunities.
  • Prospect and develop new broker relationships identifying new areas of opportunity.
  • Align with overall GRS strategy, work with peers, business and Regional Executive to develop strategies that support GWP, new business, submission and retention targets.
  • Drive collaboration internally, encouraging an environment focused on shared GRS success.
  • Maintain close relationships with business leaders and underwriting organization, keeping communication channels clear to ensure alignment and keep executive management informed of areas of concern and/or opportunity.
Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of relevant Insurance Industry experience
  • Strong relationships with senior leadership at key brokerages
  • Strong understanding of product offerings and relationships with profit center leadership
  • Business development/sales skills
  • Leadership skills ability to influence without authority
  • Interpersonal/social skills able to foster trusted relationships
  • People management skills able to nurture professional growth; fosters team effectiveness
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
