Grow Sciences is an Arizona cannabis cultivation and extraction company, focused on elite products that delight the consumer. We are B2B2C in that we sell direct to dispensaries, while also seeking direct relationships with the consumers who purchase our products. We are rapidly growing and have become the go-to top shelf option for dispensaries and consumers in the state of Arizona, and we are looking for top talent that will give us depth and expertise in multiple areas as we expand our reach.

Position Summary

Because Grow Sciences does not currently have its own dispensary, we rely heavily on dispensaries and consumers to tell our story and promote our brand. This position directly contributes to the sales and revenue of Grow Sciences through the development and nurturing of dispensary and consumer experiences.

You are an ambassador for Grow Sciences, on the frontlines constantly engaging dispensary teams and customers, online and in person, representing all that we stand for.

You are a voice of the company, which means your communication and presentation skills are key features of your talents. 

The market will recognize your face and know you by name.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year industry experience.
  • Robust knowledge of all cannabis products, how they’re made, how they’re consumed, and how they’re priced.
  • Strong communicator. Able to report to your supervisor about everything that’s happening; follow through on tasks and report progress. Equally comfortable speaking on behalf of the company to dispensaries and consumers.
  • Identify issues/items that deserve to be escalated to management and peers in case more response is needed and/or awareness for everyone.
  • Active drivers license and clean driving record. Comfortable being on the road up to 80% of the time meeting, working, delivering orders and distributing marketing collateral.
  • Delightful personality and team oriented.
  • Flexible schedule (some weekends required for vendor events / special delivery circumstances).
  • Good computer skills, with a high comfort level learning new software and tools (includes Google Suite, Monday.com, clean grammar, able to draft documents).
  • Meeting regular deadlines is critical, both internal to the company and external to the businesses.
  • Deep knowledge for how our products are made.
  • Capable of identifying issues/inefficiencies/etc with the expectation you’ll raise them to management and be a driver for new ideas and improvements across the entire division.
  • Ability to lift/carry 25+ lbs.

Marketing Support Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Host educational sessions onsite for dispensary employees either at the dispensary or during events.
  • Host events at dispensaries including outside events that will occur during nights and weekends.
  • Assist with publishing drops and communications in the Grow Sciences mobile app.
  • Update company website on demand with all product deliveries and drops.
  • Provide aid in maintaining the consumer product replacement program.

Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Help with planning and execution of Grow Sciences events in partnership with our sales team.
  • Develop positive and meaningful relationships with dispensaries.
  • Excellent customer service, time management and organization skills.
  • Visit our dispensaries monthly to check on displays and any possible customer service items that should be on our radar.
  • Communicate with the packaging and sales department to resolve product issues.
  • Increase face time with our consumers by increasing frequency and interactivity of events.
  • Prepare and inventory merch and other needed items before the event.
  • Start and maintain dialogue with dispensaries about drops, events, and consumer feedback.

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport cannabis products to dispensaries.
  • Have thorough understanding of all state regulations related to delivery/distribution of cannabis and ensure full compliance.
  • Execute all deliveries on time and communicate any delays to the dispensary.
  • Follow all rules of the road.
  • Proper cash handling and acceptance of cash from dispensaries.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean and properly maintained.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork (manifest, trip plan sheet, invoices etc.).
  • Communicate with dispensaries as needed about scheduling deliveries.
  • Verify Product with Sales to ensure orders going out match what’s on the invoices/manifests.

  • Pay is commensurate with experience.
  • This position reports to the Marketing Manager.
