Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Note: May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise from a professional / technical thought leader in their respective field or discipline. This position typically requires extensive experience in a specialized field and an advanced college degree or equivalent. The role requires expertise within a discipline in a specialized field. The job provides technical guidance and direction for his/ her area of specialization. The job requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. The complexity implied at this level of problem solving relates to the ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material.
Qualifications & experience:
- Minimum 7-9 years of professional experience required
- At least Bachelor degree, MBA will be preferred
- Multiple domain experience of supply chain, finance, operations, manufacturing while working in the ERP domain
- Past record of working as a business analyst in a large organization
- Technical knowledge on ERPs like - MS Dynamics 365, Oracle, JDE, SAP, QAD, UFIDA etc will be an added advantage or Leading large scale ERP programs as a business analyst
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control is required
- Experience with process mapping is required.
- Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required
- Experience working with high level business stakeholders is required.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Ability to support different time zones based on the project/business stakeholders being engaged.
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is preferred.
Other requirements:
- Demonstrated strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to partner with business representatives at all levels to identify needs, define and document requirements, and drive solutions
- Demonstrated ability to develop detailed project requests or charters which include project objectives, success criteria, and requirements
- Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies
- Demonstrated ability to maintain clear communication channels with IT and business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to convert complex business functions into technical specifications
- Fluent Chinese and English in speaking and writing.
