Business Analyst
CFS has teamed up with a long established client who is o ne of the leading production companies in the US. This client is seeking aBusiness Analystto join their evolving company! TheBusiness Analystplays a key role in analyzing production data, identifying operational inefficiencies, and supporting strategic decision-making across the manufacturing lifecycle. ThisBusiness Analystposition works closely with production managers, supply chain teams, and finance to drive continuous improvement and optimize resource utilization.

Overview of Business Analyst:
• Analyze production KPIs (output, downtime, scrap rate, OEE, etc.) and recommend actions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Gather and document business requirements from operations, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
• Monitor inventory levels, material flow, and procurement processes to identify bottlenecks or variances.
• Support ERP/MRP system enhancements by validating data, testing workflows, and recommending configuration changes.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering to automate data collection from machines and systems.
• Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analysis for new tools, equipment, or process changes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for production lines.
• Document SOPs, workflows, and operational process maps for clarity and consistency.
Qualifications of Business Analyst:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
