Join our team as a Business Analyst, responsible to maintain operational workflows, conduct financial analyses, and produce reports to support the management of our real estate investment portfolio. This role will collaborate across the organization and focus on developing analytical solutions, executing reporting processes, and delivering insights that enhance visibility into the portfolio and enable sound asset management decision-making.
The Business Analyst, Portfolio Analytics will be responsible for:
• Execute processes that project and report financial performance of real estate transaction activity.
• Review and maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of portfolio data utilized in internal and public reporting materials.
• Maintain tools that support Asset Management’s ability to efficiently operate its business function, including its forward-looking transaction pipeline.
• Seek out new data sources to enhance and enrich existing workflows and procedures.
• Support the development and deployment of business intelligence, data visualization, and financial analytics tools.
• Aggregating, transforming, and interpreting data from disparate sources to create reporting packages, BI dashboards, and summaries.
• Identify, extract, and summarize noteworthy data for use in management commentary regarding past and future expected portfolio performance.
• Monitor macroeconomic, real estate, industry, and tenant trends to evaluate portfolio risk and contribute to risk mitigation strategy, including proactive divestment and lease negotiation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• It is anticipated the level of knowledge and experience needed to adequately perform the duties of the position would be gained from a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics and up to 2 years of work experience from a professional or academic setting.
• Energetic intellectual curiosity with penchant for learning and expanding knowledge set.
• Strong communication skills; ability to translate complex, granular business problems into cogent, summary-level descriptions for diverse audiences.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to implement technical solutions that draw on a range of methods to deal with logical complexity.
• General proficiency with commonly used MS365 applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Algorithmic approach towards solving business problems, improving business practices, and optimizing procedures.
• Attention to detail, demonstrated through highly accurate work product.
• Highly analytical and adaptive mode of thinking that balances creativity and organization when problem-solving.
• Nice to have familiarity with Python. Knowledge of SQL and relational database principles, and Power BI a plus.
• Exposure to designing and deploying data reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence solutions with direct end-user collaboration.

This is a hybrid role, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays required in-office.
The hourly pay range for this role is $31.47 - $38.19 - $45.38
Offers near the high end are uncommon but may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and skills and are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, to be discussed during the interview process. An annual pay rate and total compensation package is generally determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
