Position summary:

The Spine Division has been a department maintained since the early days of the establishment of Stryker Korea, operating within the Implants business unit. Stryker recently strengthened the product capabilities of the Spine division through the acquisition and merger of K2M. In order to enhance the capabilities of the Spine division in Korea, a business development manager is going to be employed. The business development manager for the Spine division operates as an independent entity, focusing on both sales and marketing roles to streamline and expand the business. Additionally, with the acquisition and merger of Wright Medical, new biologics products have been added. The department has been renamed Spinal and Biologics, solidifying its position in the industry. As a result, this position is responsible for the Spine and Biologics business to execute sales strategies and plans nationwide with the goal to achieve sales quotas.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

  • Achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal by implementing strong promotion of sales activities.
  • Support Business leader to formulate the sales plan and activities in accordance with business strategy, market trends and opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop relationships with business partners, indirect channels, customers and regularly interact with them to ensure the best coordination.
  • Building up robust rapport with key customers and strong ownership for key accounts
  • Create our market coverage and presence by developing and upgrading the capability of indirect sales channels.
  • Implement innovative sales and marketing activities while developing and building strong relationship with KOLs in related academic society.

Qualifications & experience:

  • 12+ years of work experience required
  • 8+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
