Business Information Developer Sr

Location: Richmond, VA. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Richmond VA, Indianapolis IN, or Wallingford, CT.

The Business Information Developer Sr will be responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.

How you will make an impact:

• Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
• Uses program languages to extract data.
• Conducts training on use of applications developed.
• Programs and writes queries and reports.
• Develops and executes data mining analyses.
• Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
• Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years' related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• SQL experience strongly preferred.
• MS Office suite experience strongly preferred.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• SAS experience preferred.
• PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
• Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages.
