The Business Intelligence Engineer will deliver forward-thinking, innovative build and deploy solutions as we are experiencing significant growth within our BI technologies. The Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop and support the data structures underpinning our Ipsos data repositories to support both internal business decisions and data-driven solutions for our many end clients. This role will provide support in the following areas:
- Business intelligence tools
- ETL tools and best practices
- Data cleaning best practices
- API Data calls
What you can expect to be doing:
- Gather and transform business requirements into innovative Business Intelligence solutions that effectively support our business.
- Drive data model design
- ETL processes for multiple data repositories.
- Interact with business users and technical teams throughout the development life-cycle; analyzing problems and clearly articulating solutions.
- Design data table structure
- Responsible for general debugging and query optimization
- Custom Scoring code
- Assist in survey design and programming when needed
- Complex client locations list / sample transformations
- Bulk session creation and management
Required Technical Skills
- 2-3+ years of experience with data processing, dashboards and report development
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or closely related field.
- Some experience in SQL, SSIS
- Preferred experience with BI and Reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, Qualtrics
- Reliability and consistency in ability to deliver on commitments; meeting timelines, attention to detail, and anticipating business teams' needs.
- Experience with web development technologies is a plus, but not required.

Our CHP service line specializes in all matters relating to measuring, managing and improving customer relationships and the overall customer experience. We help our clients manage the experiences they deliver in a way that maximizes the value of both customers and employees to their organization.
The Business Intelligence role is a key role in the CHP organization as we expand and grow our technology focused portfolio of offerings and services. This role is intended to be a hybrid between a traditional Saas solutions and custom solutions management, where clients have technology platforms at the core of the solution. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for maximizing data driven models to meet defined business requirements and become proficient in data table structure and ETL processes.

The Channel Performance Service Line is home to the largest mystery shopping agency in the world. We complete over one million shops every year in 100+ countries across all industry segments and organization sizes. We also offer Geolocation Surveys, Site Audits & Installations, and foundational research within our portfolio of services. Our purpose is to help our clients improve their business performance across all channels in which they serve their customers - brick and mortar retail, digital e-commerce, and contact centers. We do this by helping them size channel opportunities, measure the delivery of brand promises, and drive compliance and sales conversion across these channels.
