Business Intelligence Engineer II

Blueprint Test Prep has a new opportunity for a Business Intelligence Engineer to work on analytics initiatives behind Blueprint's Learning Management System as well as other platforms that help drive Blueprint's success. This position is fully remote and reports to our VP of Data Engineering.
We are a world-class Edtech company and leading platform for high-stakes test prep for pre-law, pre-med, med school students, residents, practicing physicians, PAs, and NPs. We use technology and powerful data to create personalized and innovative learning experiences.
Who You Are

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with statistical, financial, operational, or strategic analysis
• The ability to create visualizations of complex data using tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
• Knowledge of modeling (using LookML, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.) including proficiency in acquiring, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of data
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, and the ability to think holistically
• Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness, and enjoy solving problems
• The ability to work in a remote team environment with a positive demeanor
• The capability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
• Some experience with the analysis of AI algorithms
• A bachelor's degree in math, science, economics or related discipline

• You tell great stories with data - generating models and visualizations that explain stories and allow for data-driven solutions is your jam.
• You love data and the insights that it can provide. You understand the KPIs that move the needle on the business side and that quality insights can be a huge differentiator for our learners.
• You are great at decomposing complex problems, breaking down complex data and proposing creative solutions.
• Develop tools that monitor and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with business and subject matter experts on schedules and deliverables
• Stay calm under pressure, and provide trust in the analysis of data and its presentation
