Business Intelligence Manager

In the role of BI Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing multiple data analytics initiatives across our customer's organization. You will supervise a team of analysts and BI developers, ensuring project(s) delivery is well taken care of. You will support request for proposals (RFPs) for new tools and technologies to strengthen customer's BI infrastructure and grow our business.

Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City), Hybrid mode 2-3 days at office

  • experience preferably in CPG domain .
  • Very good communication skills in Spanish and English - MUST
  • Should be willing to relocate to Mexico City.
  • Should be willing to attend daily nightly calls with offshore team.

  • Strong execution capability in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence.
  • Should be able to independently lead multiple Agile PODs based in Mexico City.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the efficient, successful and sustainable delivery of complex initiatives, encompassing all phases of program management, including creating program definition clarity.
  • Lead BI program planning, delivery and execution functions. Drive, manage and track high priority initiatives with cross discipline teams or external partners.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with engineering teams, and stakeholders in DW product and Data through the design, build, release phases to release quality products to merchants.
  • Create detailed project plans and make sure of re-use of components.
  • Communicate and provide transparency into program status to the executive and senior leadership team while tracking progress toward milestones.
  • Identify dependencies between disparate services and dependent technical systems to enable effective program delivery.
  • Manage critical program adjustments, risks, dependencies and scope changes, escalate and partner with teams to triage and resolve.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders to improve efficiency, effectiveness of the program, and escalate/resolve areas of opportunities/risks to leadership.
  • Ensure Programs/projects are delivered on-time, within scope and continuously identify areas of opportunity to improve overall execution capability.
Good to have:
  • Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel across Americas for new program initiatives.
