This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.
Position Overview:
TheBusiness Systems & Data Visualization Analystwill manage and optimize our enterprise applications, focusing oncreating visually compelling and user-centric Power BI dashboards. In this role, you willleverage Microsoft Fabric, includingDataflows Gen2 and Data Pipelines,to build and maintain robust data integration solutions, monitor system performance, and ensure seamless data-driven operations.
Fabric Real-Time Intelligence is also desirable for supporting streaming and real-time analytics use cases, ensuring timely insights into operational data.Fabric Data Science experienceis a plus for advanced analytics and machine learning applications.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions, ensuring that end-to-end business processes are supported and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Development & Data Visualization:
β’ Design, develop, and maintainaesthetically compelling, high-performance Power BI dashboardstailored to business needs.
β’ Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them intoactionable, visual insights.
Collaborative Analysis & Reporting:
β’ Aggregate, analyze, and report on business data to support decision-making acrossaccounting, operations, and other critical business processes.
β’ Trace and monitorpipeline and dashboard performanceto identify bottlenecks or anomalies and recommend improvements.
β’ Work withtechnical and non-technical stakeholdersto document system requirements and design efficient, scalable workflows.
Continuous Improvement:
β’ Stay updated on advancements inMicrosoft Fabric, Power BI, and data engineering best practicesand new features
β’ Recommend and implementenhancements to streamline operationsand reduce system workflow and integration complexity.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
β’ Bachelorβs degree incomputer science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in Analyst roles.
β’ Proven experience withenterprise-level application management, particularly withinMicrosoft environments.
Technical Skills:
β’ Expertise in Power BI, including M Query and DAX.
β’ Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Data Pipelines.
β’ Proficient increating Power BI dashboardswith robust designand aesthetic sensibilities.
β’ Familiarity withMedallion architecture principles.
β’ Experience with common enterprise applications likeERP, CRM, Supply Chain, and EAMis desirable
Business & Communication Skills:
β’ Strongverbal and written communication skills, with a history of building strong relationships with business stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
β’ Demonstratedunderstanding of end-to-end business processes.
β’ Ability tosimplify complex data and system workflowsinto clear, actionable insights.
β’ Proven ability towork independentlywhile collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
