Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead a team that works with and supports the VA Cancer Clinical Research Service to implement and perform decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) in the VA. A DCT is a clinical trial that uses a centralized research team to execute a clinical trial across the VA’s entire enterprise with Veteran participants at disparate geographic locations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Clinical expertise through MD/RN degree (PhD with clinical research experience considered)
• Experience leading oncology clinical trials (5 years minimum)
• Experience working virtually or leading projects using innovative technology i.e. telehealth.
• Vast experience in all aspect of clinical research including but not limited to regulatory data management coordination fiscal and project management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the oncology disease

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience working on national level projects.
