Locations: GA-Atlanta, MD-Baltimore, IN-Indianapolis, OH-Cincinnati, ME-South Portland, PA- Harrisburg, NY-Syracuse, VA-Norfolk, VA-Richmond, TX- Denison, MA- Hingham, MD- Hanover
This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Capture Manager will be responsible for creating and cultivating business relationships while managing all win strategy elements required to effectively pursue complex Federal opportunities that will achieve corporate growth goals.
How you will make an impact:
• Presents FGS including NGS, FHPS and WF business entities sector capabilities to prospective clients (briefings, RFI responses, white papers, media, tradeshows, technical symposia, etc.).
• Participates in color reviews of proposals.
• Assesses pwin percentages and includes in opportunity overview
• Assists and develops GC gate review decks with review and approval by the Director of BD and Client Management Director and P& L leader.
• Checks and updates salesforce on all opportunities assigned to them.
• Ensures accurate and timely documentation of opportunity-specific information within the business development process. Leads the development of win strategies.
• Conducts gate reviews and develops the resulting capture plan.
• Develop and maintain capture schedule, gather available program artifacts, validate customer's primary objectives and identify critical customer challenges.
• Evaluate top known and suspected competitors conduct Black Hat review and score competition
• Transition all capture artifacts to proposal director and support all aspects of the proposal development process to ensure continuity of all elements of the win strategy through submission
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 10 years of experience in working with and having knowledge of federal and local government organizations and key stakeholders, industry-accepted capture management and/or proposal management process, and a verifiable win record leading the capture of business opportunities valued at task order level of $10 million to as high as $500 million; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Applicants selected would be subject to a government security investigation, must meet eligibility requirements and U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Requires government and business experience and knowledge which includes management, client, or subject matter experience in major Federal healthcare services market.
- Experience with business development process improvement including business development, capture management, proposal development, and metrics and measures of effectiveness experience required.
- Ability to travel may be required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Experience working with HHS, VA and/or DHA, in major Federal healthcare services market strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the FAR, capture, proposal processes and Federal proposals preferred.
- Highly organized, analytical with a strong attention to detail and an ability to work with matrix teams strongly preferred.
- Ability to write and prepare presentations using Microsoft Suite of products preferred.
- Prior experience using salesforce preferred.
