Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including installation, restoration, and maintenance of structures and fixtures. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties • Perform flooring installation and tile laying with precision and care. • Ensure structures are plumb and level during construction or renovation projects. • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for material handling and installation. • Hang doors and install fixtures to enhance functionality and aesthetics of spaces. • Collaborate with other trades such as electrical and drywall teams to complete projects efficiently. • Assemble various components of structures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes. • Participate in restoration projects, applying carpentry skills to repair or enhance existing structures. Requirements • Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is essential. • Familiarity with flooring installation techniques and tile laying practices is preferred. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. • Knowledge of the restoration industry is a plus. • Proficiency in door hanging and fixture installation is highly desirable. • Basic understanding of electrical work and drywall installation is beneficial. • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
